FIVE-SECOND STRATEGY FOR A BETTER MOOD

Sometimes your spirits can't even be lifted looking at photos of babies napping with puppies. What could? A recent study suggests changing the tone of your voice. Study coauthor Petter Johansson,Ph.D.,of Lund University in Sweden reports that participants listened to altered versions of their voice(happier, scared, etc.) and unconsciously changed their mood to match their the emotion they heard. According to the study results, we listen to our voice to find out how we feel. Next time you are mad, speak calmly and see if a better attitude follows.
