WHAT IS CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME?

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is a complex illness. The condition can be completely incapacitating. It includes debilitating fatigue along with other symptoms. The fatigue is not relieved by bed rest. It is severe enough to interfere with daily activities. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome can be diagnosed by looking for a pattern of specific symptoms. This is both physical and brain-related. The causes are still a mystery. It could be triggered by a faulty immune system, viral infection or stress affecting body chemistry. Although there is no cure, improvement and recovery are possible with comprehensive treatment.
