CALMING YOUR MIND WITH MEMORIES

According to a recent Rutgers University study, some memories give you anxiety, while others have feel-good powers that can put you at ease during nerve-racking situations. Study coauthor Megan Speer says, "Thinking about happy times engages the reward-related circuits in the brain, which can immediately act as a buffer to your stress hormone levels and keep you calm for up to an hour".
