KNOW THE SIGNS OF A STROKE

FAST is the acronym from the American Heart Association. F is for "face". Is there facial weakness? A is for "arm weakness". S is for "speaking difficulties". T stands for "Time to call 911". Some have added BE B for "balance". Some stroke patients may not have weakness, but severe balance difficulties. E is for "eyes". In some patients parts of their visual field are missing. Others may lose vision in one eye. AGAIN it is BEFAST Balance Eyes Face Arm Speaking Difficulties Time to call 911
