HEROES WORK HERE

In 2012, the Disney Company launched Heroes Work Here.  They were hoping to hire 1,000 veterans by 2015.  They past this goal in just a few months.  Today, they have more than 5,000 veterans working for them.  First Lady Michelle Obama told Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Disney, Robert A. Iger about the challenges the vets face transitioning into civilian life.  She also gave ideas on how the company could help.  Now, Disney is sharing what they have learned through their Veterans Institute seminars.  Businesses that have attended this seminar have hired an additional 5,000 veterans.
