SURPRISING REASONS YOU KEEP BREAKING OUT

1  Your boyfriend has a beard.    2  You can't stomach certain food.  Spicy foods often contain tomatoes and peppers can be an irritant to some people throwing off their skin's ph levels and triggering breakouts.  Also, dairy, bread or other types of food- take a break from the spicy foods for a month to see if that's the cause.  Tiny whiteheads or even blemishes in a rash-like pattern around the chin or mouth.    3  Your using products that contain pore-clogging ingredients.  Mineral oil is a super-heavy moisturizing agent found in some lotions.  It clogs your pores and break you out. Silicones in skin care and cosmetics are another that can clog pores.   4  You're OD'ing on spot treatments.  Overusing topical salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide or sulfur over-the-counter treatments can dry out your skin causing it to produce more oil and possibly blemishes.  Instead, apply a dab of hydrocortisone cream onto the spot two or three times during the day to take down the inflammation and redness. Then conceal it by simply covering it up with a concealer.  Especially one that has antibacterial ingredients to keep the formula bacteria-free and your face clear.    5  Your hair products are wreaking havoc on your skin.  Cleansing agents, heavy moisturizing agents and silicones that your shampoo, conditioner and stylers contain can seep into your pores, clogging them and resulting in chest acne, back acne and pesky pimples along the hairline.  Wash face last in shower to make sure you haven't accidently gotten any product on your skin that could break you out later.
