MEMORY PROBLEMS Blood type AB may increase your risk for cognitive impairment. Older people with AB were more likely than those with other blood types to have problems learning or recalling lists of items. STOMACH CANCER Type AB risk is roughly 26% higher than type B or O. Type A risks is 20% higher than type B or O. ULCERS Type O is more at risk. HEART DISEASE Type O may lower your risk by up to 23% compared to people with other blood types. Types AB & B are at greater risk. PANCREATIC CANCER Type O is 37% less likely to develop this than people with other blood types.
