Color Psychology - Pink and Purple

PINK- Usually associated with love and romance.  Thought to have a calming effect, but it has been found the calm feeling only occurs during the initial exposure.  When used in prisons, the inmates become more agitated.  PURPLE-  It is a symbol of royalty and wealth.  It represents wisdom and spirituality.  It can appear exotic and artificial because it does not often occur in nature.
