Having mental illness is enough! Try these tips to help prevent heart disease, high cholesteral, and high blood presure.

Chia Seeds (knick-named nutrition sprinkles) are the latest "new wonder food".  They do not have a taste, so they will not change the flavor of food they are added to.  They are packed with soluble fiber, which lowers cholesterol.  They reduce plague build-up in arteries.  They also lower blood pressure.  They can be sprinkled into oatmeal, cold cereal, yoghurt, cottage cheese, smoothies, salad dressings, and muffin batters.  Pumpkin is also good to add to your diet.  It is a great source of potassium. Potassium is a mineral that lowers blood pressure.  Pumpkin acts as an anti-sodium. It helps offset salt.  It is packed with fiber, which is one of the best defenses against heart attacks and strokes. 100% pumpkin puree is the best.
